Come meet NAAFA’s Executive Director at the Queer Joy Pool Party in Des Moines!
This is a free, 18+ only event designed for community members who have historically not felt welcome at pools. Every kind of body is welcome! This event is free to attend, but we ask that you register here so we have a rough headcount and can ensure there are enough lifeguards on staff.
Snacks and refreshments are provided by our friends at Capital City Pride, Pride Sports League, and NAAFA. Alcohol and tobacco use is not permitted on or around the premises of Birdland Pool.
