The aim of these pages is to support fat people in gaining self-confidence independent of body weight. Because you are fat, we, the operators of DDS, shouldn't feel guilty. And that you are fat, we also find, is no reason not to accept yourself or to allow yourself to be discriminated against. So if you are here to make peace with your body, you are spot on.
The Society against Weight Discrimination (GgG) e.V.
The Society against Weight Discrimination (GgG) e.V. is a German socio-political association with the aim of improving the social acceptance of fat people and counteracting discrimination on the basis of body weight. It was founded in 2005 as an association of people of very different abdominal girths who set out to change the predominantly negative view of society on fat people. Our work does not primarily focus on fat people, but on the discriminatory social environment.
