January 24, 2023: The movie The Whale and the portrayal of fat characters using fat suits is examined along with the entertainment industry's history of fat phobia. Lindy West shares insight on the movie for The Guardian. NPR also put out an interview concerning The Whale.

February 27, 2023: New research examines internalized attitudes, values, and beliefs related to body weight and weight-based oppression of staff, faculty, and students at Qatar University.

March 2, 2023: The fat community says goodbye to Michael Loewy, who took professional interest in body size, physical appearance, sexual orientation, race, gender, gender expression, religion, age, and social class.

March 4, 2023: Ragen Chastain pulls back the curtain on the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), finding that its priorities are not truly supportive of the fat community.

March 6, 2023: A study presented at the American College of Cardiology's annual meeting (not yet peer reviewed or published) concludes that a diet high in fat and low in carbohydrates (like the Keto diet) can more than double the risk of heart problems such as heart attacks or strokes, as well as clogged arteries.
