NAAFA Presents Superfat Chat! Hosted by Amanda and Angel. Saturday, Feb 21 at 11am Pacific. A virtual hangout for people living at the larger end of the fat spectrum. Free on Zoom. Registration required. naafa.org/events

Superfat Chat is a virtual affinity meet-up for adults who are living at the largest end of the size spectrum. This includes those who identify as supersize, superfat, and infinifat.

This is an interactive session, with discussion and activities led by NAAFA Board Member Amanda Evans (she/her) and special guest host Angel Austin (she/her).

Be sure to attend live because this event will not be recorded. ASL interpreting for this event will be provided upon request with 72 hours notice.

Affinity spaces are intended to be only for people of shared identity. If you are a smaller fat person, or a thin person hoping to learn more and use your privilege to advance fat acceptance, please do not register for this event. NAAFA offers many other free virtual events throughout the year for people of all sizes and identities.

The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance was founded in 1969 to work towards a more equitable and welcoming world for fat people. We use the word fat intentionally and unapologetically, to destigmatize what has been used as an insult. “Fat” should simply be an adjective to describe one of many types of body diversity.
