A virtual community gathering where fat activists and friends can learn, hope, and plan together. Sunday, March 29, 2pm Pacific on Zoom. Info and registration at naafa.org/events

No Kings Day is a national non-partisan movement to rally millions of people across the US to resist attacks on our communities. Started in June 2025 in response to President Trump’s birthday military parade, a second action was held in October 2025 with millions more participating. On March 28, millions more are expected to participate in the streets and in other ways.

NAAFA’s mission is to end size discrimination, and our vision is a world where all people are free. Whether you participate in No Kings Day or not, we invite you to join us the next day (March 29) to meet with other fat and fat-positive people. Together, we will think collectively about hope, information, and action plans for what comes next in being resistant and resilient to tyranny in the US and globally.

Join us to talk about:

  • report backs from those who attended No Kings Day events

  • trauma-informed self-care while doing activism in marginalized bodies

  • how we welcome and encourage those who are new to activism and organizing

  • resistance roles and how we can ensure superfat and/or disabled folks are included and accommodated

  • mutual aid in fat community and beyond

NAAFA events are for fat people and fat-positive friends of all sizes. Our virtual events are offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of our community of NAAFA donors. To support this and other NAAFA programming, visit naafa.org/give.

This event is presented via Zoom, in English, and with English auto-captions by Otter.ai. ASL Interpreting by Pro Bono ASL.

The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with a mission to change perceptions of fat and to end size discrimination through advocacy, education, and support.
