Image Description (provided by guest): A headshot of Alexis, a happy fat woman, with hands on hips and smiling and laughing.

Alexis Krase (she/her) is the owner of Plus BKLYN, a second-hand and vintage retail shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, dedicated to serving plus-size individuals of all identities. A lifelong plus-size person, Alexis has always been passionate about fashion and defying the limitations imposed by a world of scarce, uninspired options for sizes above a 16.

Frustrated by her own struggles to find clothing in her size—a 4X—that combined style, fit, and personality, Alexis set out to create the shop she wished existed. Plus BKLYN offers a highly curated selection of edgy, downtown second-hand and vintage styles in sizes 1X to 6X at accessible price points. By centering inclusivity and bold self-expression, Alexis has built a space where plus-size shoppers feel celebrated, empowered, and seen. Follow Alexis @plusbklyn and @alexisinbklyn
