We’ll discuss accessibility, representation, and how wellness and diet culture pressures impact professionals in these fields and the clients they work with. Speaker Bios:

Kimmie Singh (she/her) is a fat, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in New York City. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Physics from St. John’s University, her Master of Science in Nutrition at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and her Dietetic Internship from The City University of New York-Hunter College. Kimmie is a sought-after speaker that has spoken at conferences across the US about the harms of weight stigma, societal oppression in eating disorder treatment, and body positivity. She is also a consultant for the Health at Every Size® dietetic internship concentration at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Kimmie is also a contributor for The Center for Mindful Eating’s Certification Program and co-hosted the PCOS and Food Peace podcast with Julie Duffy Dillon, RD. Luca Yacón (they/them) is the founder of Radically Fit, the Bay Area's radical community gym rooted in fat liberation & joyful movement for all queer, trans, Black and brown folks, and their allies, regardless of experience, size, or ability. They are a bigger bodied, queer, trans, POC who was adopted from Guatemala and grew up in the Bay Area. They have been a personal trainer for 10 years and a business owner for 5 years.
