The Fat Spotlight is a respite from an anti-fat world.
It’s one hour when fat people are showcased and shown off, without apology or explanation. We feature audacious fat people from a broad spectrum of communities and identities. Standout advocates, artists, creators, scholars, and organizers will join us to explore fat identity in these Ozempicky times.
The Fat Spotlight is hosted by NAAFA’s executive director, Tigress Osborn. We’ll talk about fat rights and fat liberation, with discussions ranging from silly to serious, from intellectual to inspirational. Each episode will look at how fat and fatness shape our lives, how we can thrive in the bodies we live in right now, and how we destroy anti-fatness.
